R. Garth Ferrell

Mr. Ferrell was born in Ellensburg, Washington, in 1959. He received his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, in economics from Brigham Young University in 1983 and his J.D. degree from the J. Reuben Clark Law School, Brigham Young University, in 1986. He was admitted to practice in the State of Colorado and in Federal District Court in 1986. In 1993, he was admitted to practice before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

In 1986, Mr. Ferrell began private practice with one of the largest law firms in Denver at the time, Holme, Roberts & Owen. He represented clients in a wide variety of commercial litigation matters, including creditor’s rights, general contract disputes, oil and gas matters, and construction litigation. In 1988, Mr. Ferrell continued his commercial litigation practice at the law firm of Parcel, Mauro, Hultin & Spaanstra, P.C., also in Denver. While at Parcel, Mauro, Mr. Ferrell gained significant litigation experience in matters relating to oil and gas, savings and loans, natural resources, environmental liability, employment law, complex business litigation, asbestos property litigation and personal injury defense litigation for a variety of Fortune 500 clients. Mr. Ferrell also worked to favorably resolve disputes through alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration and mediation.

Mr. Ferrell joined Mallgren & Associates, P.C. in December 1996, and in 1998 became a member of the firm. Mr. Ferrell continues his complex commercial litigation practice and has successfully resolved complex real estate, product liability, trademark, patent, unfair competition and probate disputes.
